Flying insects pose a threat to health & food hygiene. Flys, such as Bluebottles (commonly found in most homes/ buildings in the warmer months) can pass on germs & diseases from landing on cups, plates and uncovered food, as well as kitchen worktops.
Also during the summer months mosquitos & other small insects can cause discomfort with their presence and irratating bites.

Flying insects are attracted to the above unit by the 2 x 6 Watt ultraviolet lamps. On the way to the light they fly into a 2500V electrified grid & are killed instantly, painlessly & hygienically. As the units are electric they do not dispurse any poisonous vapours or irratating odours. At the bottom of the unit is a catch tray where all the dead insects fall, this is easily removed enabling the unit to be emptied hygienically. They are supplied with a metal chain for hanging the unit under the ceiling. They are ideal for use in homes, farms, factories, restaurants & hospitals.
